Kismet- Enhancing luck


This photograph may interest you. Outside one of the shop near Lal Quila (Delhi), the face of some Indian Goddess hanged along with green-chilly and lemon (a famous superstitious remedy to protect one's shop/home from envy and bad-luck) to bring in good luck or enhance Kismet!

    Going by the snakes and skull-like images around the face, must be Durga, Kaali or Mahishaasurmardini.
