Its a strange strange world...

We all envy, hate, compete and fight still we love, care and need each other.
Its a strange strange world.. :)

Childhood to School days

After getting good comments from you all over my first original post on my childhood, i was prompted to write more of me as a child and felt like peeping a bit further in school days. Hope it will give my readers and friends some more moments of smile. Thanx for your support. :)
School was ultimate fun, where like everyone else i too learned alot. I had a great social network always upto some or other mischiefs.
During my childhood when i was frisky in an innocent way, without any idea of what i was upto though now my mischieves occur due to a deliberate effort, school age was the age of exploring the world around me with a little bit of funny but innocent deeds.. :)
Leaving my childhood behind, lets head towards school days. Wherein i was considered as very clever and intelligent person by my siblings at home who used to follow me (though not always), my friends used to consider me a very modest, caring and innocent "kid". Yes 'kid' is the right word. (even now am considered as one). Even though i was a bit above average in studies, but had always got great amount of love and affection from all my teachers and friends. And after reaching senior classes got same level of affection and admiration from my juniors too. I still wonder the popularity in school i got was due to my loud hilarious laughs or my never ending social nature. Anyways i was considered good in all aspects and thats all what matters now.. lol ;-)

It was fun going to school, trying our hands at tt, basketball, and gym, succeeding in nothing except a few moments of laughs. Rushing to school canteen in 5 mins of break between two classes and wonderful interaction with loads of friends there. Going to each other's homes in vacations or after school and talking for hours on phone after coming back home. My friends were a life saving jacket for me. They always used to act like one in every strange situation, tackling my problems without letting me in. We were a group of eight girls who used to laugh and laugh endlessly. Whole day scoffing on chocolates and toffees.
For every student, bunks are the most fun and integral part of school life. My bunks were the weirdest ones.

My first class bunk was a very miserable event. Recollecting that moment, i remember we never used to bunk our regular classes, as all teachers were aware of us and we were in their good books.. So one day i guess in 10th std, one of our teachers was absent and in her place some other teacher had to come to control the class. So it was kind of free class for all of us. Me and my friend Neha, we often used to address her by her surname i.e. "GHAI" decided we must bunk the class, as we had never before and this is the time when we can show our guts.. Uh Oh.. Guts.. That too bunking a free period.. anyways we were idiots and so it was an important day for both of us. Those were summer days and sun was in its peek position. And we ended up spending all 45 mins of that period in girls washroom, so as to escape all eyes, spoiling ourselves in sweat. Those were the worst 45 mins of my school life. :( Now we laugh at it but bunking a free period in summerdays that too in girl's room was the lousiest idea one can ever have.

And i remember my first and last school bunk, (11th or 12 std) it was another funny incident. I used to tell mum whatever used to happen in our school. So one day all my classmates made this plan to bunk the school. They asked our group if we are interested or not. I told them that i'll inform about my plan next day. And next day i refused, saying i asked my mum and she told me that in school uniforms you kids will get pissed off. Either take a leave or go on sunday with all friends in casuals and enjoy the day. Her point was valid, so i agreed. And my close pals said, our mothers told us to go if her mother allows her. And omg everybody was staring at us in disgust. I told them, i dont want to take any chances and my parents are pretty cool and frank so i need not hide anything from them.
But now i tell my mum it was so uncool, everybody was amused and amazed at us.. lol School was ultimate fun with many infinite memories.

This is To all my frnds..

The Other Side Of Me!! ;-)

My life without accidents or some weird incident!! Not possible.. Some or the other thing is always there round the corner. And this time if you are guessing that I am talking about my another fall from stairs or spoiling veggies while cooking, absolutely wrong!!! These are so commonly common incidents in my life.. This time it is something new.. and weirdly weird!!
It was 1 at night, we three were busy with our respective readings. My brother was doing his physics derivations, and my sister was reading a novel, and i too was busy in reading the novel "Alchemist". Mom and dad were asleep.. It was a silent night, with our small disturbances in between. I was deeply thirsty, but as I didn't want to take any break while reading, I didn't bother myself for just a glass of water. At 1.30 my brother departed for sleep. After a while, I too felt I must sleep, to wake up on time next day. So leaving my book in the middle, I rose up, with a peaceful heart and a mind full of nice philosophical thoughts which were injected in me by that book, I too went to bedroom ..
It was all dark. And now when i wanted to lie down, i suddenly realised that i was horribly thristy since past 3 hours. And i started searching for a bottle of water in that dark room near my bed, failed to find any, i was about to leave for refrigerator, when suddenly my brother stopped me. "Are u searching bottle??" he asked in a sleepy voice. I said "yups". And he handed me a bottle saying "its here". I opened the neck of the bottle, getting a bit suspicious about it. But then i was so engrossed with my thoughts and was so thirsty, i ignored the suspicion that occured and took the largest possible sip of it. And as i was about to swallow it, i found out it wasn't water. As water is not that thick, without any taste and it had the coolness of mint and its smell was like.. OH MY GOD!! i realised it now, it was hair oil that was resting inside my mouth, above my throat ready to go down.. YUCK!! It was disgusting. I punched my brother for what he had done(though he was totally unaware of what i had inside my mouth).. And after discovering he was laughing. And I rushed towards the basin to spit it out, with the precaution, that no drop must flow down inside me. Suddenly all philosophy vanished, all thirst died, and all sleep i had in my eyes flew off. And within few seconds all that large amount of oil,(i could have used that much hair oil twice) was flowing down the basin. After washing my mouth, i straighaway walked to the previous room to my sister, and told her the whole story, laughing hard. And my mother came in, it took her a split of second to realise what has happened. And now she was laughing too. When during night there's all silence, and when one wants to suppress the loud sounds of laughs and mutters, ironically one ends up being hysterical. And it was hard for us to stop at that moment, specially me who had experienced it a while ago!! :)

My first payjama party :)

News channels are definetly leaving up their marks, in our lives,if not anywhere else. They are better hit than any television series today. They know how to spice up the news and how to spread sensation throughout as what they call it "sansani". One can find everything from emotions, action, comedy to romance, thrill, suspense here. They certainly are a big big hit.

I know u must be wondering the title is pajama party and now i am giving speech about news channels, what rubbish!! But be impatient as i was when all this happened...

I had been a prey of this news madness too, a month ago. It was 11.30 pm(i dont remember day and date), my mom and dad were about to sleep and we three viz me, my sis and my bro all were talking to each other in our room when suddenly our door bell rang. I became furious as who can be there at this time of the night and told my brother to accompany me to the door.. He asked me to stay behind and went downstairs. And as he opened the door, a neighbourhood kid yelled out loud "Bhaiya get out of the house, hurry up. Earthquake is about to come. Quick bhaiya.. tell everybody." And as it never happened before in our lives we were amazed and amused on what was happening. In the meanwhile my dad also went out and asked whats the issue all about. And the kid said "we dont know uncle, elders have asked us to the ring bell of each and every house in this line and tell them to get out of their respective homes."

So willingly or unwillingly we all went out from our respective hideouts. And it seemed as if some pajama party was going on outside. Certainly it was like some great getogether, everybody was in night suits. All people from our lane were out talking to each other disecting on whats happening and how come this news took birth. My parents joined a group to know the details. And i moved further after them. A girl, cousin sister of that kid who alarmed us, came to us holding a tray full of glasses and offered water. So yeah, kids were assigned this duty, and they were thoroughly enjoying it. So my parents enquired about the matter as howcome the news about earthquake was spread. And one of the uncles told us, that in zee news at 4'clock in the afternoon, some people were predicting that the earthquake may approach Delhi between 11.00 pm to 12.oo am. And so, we asked all our kids to alarm all the nearby neighbours. I messaged one of my friend to get out of her home too, (call it my love for her or reaction of the action that was taking place out of my home). She called me back and asked me to sleep and stop acting like insanes at midnight and for some couple of minutes she seemed hopeless to me. When i was trying to save her life, she was calling me insane. But later on i realised it too, news channels can say anything.

So everyone was out of their respective homes, and had divided themselves into small social groups whichever was best suiting them, and regular sounds of talking, murmuring, laughing were reaching our ears.. There was no sleep in any eye! Anyways i was enjoying this "nightout" too. And i dialed another number, this time it was my cousin's no., indore, and told him the whole story. He was amused and started enjoying the nearby sounds too.. Since he was tired after all day work i asked him to go to sleep.

In the meanwhile my brother and his friends were planning to play cricket. They didn't want to loose this opportunity. And i joined his group, as to know whats happening in another social group. And this was the group i enjoyed alot. We all were laughing, making jokes of news channels. They all started making a high end plan to give those news channels another news full of sensation . A sensation regarding UFOs. They were dividing the jobs among themselves as who will take the shoot, who will become alien, who will hold the light behind and finally who will give the interview to the channel. And after 5 minutes they all were playing cricket in the front park. Everything was utterly hilarious. People started to move back to their respective homes. And i went to call my brother back, when suddenly another kid sprayed up a deodrant over me.. yuck!! i hate such strong smells and specially during night when i have to sleep.. But instead of getting angry i was laughing as this was another game that kids had discovered during this weird confusion. After returning i switched on the television, and all the news channels were pouring different news as always(none was related to "EARTHQUAKE") unaware of the fact as what impact they had made in our lives 2 hours ago.. And now the road that seemed so lively couple of hours ago, was now falling into deep dark silience of night.

Blended best

Everyone can follow trends but few can follow traditions. The trick is to have the right balance of both. As trends are the shoots, that makes us go high and traditions are the root, which nourishes us throughout our lives... :)
