Understanding Love

Mystery Unresolved!!
The difference is great. And it seems a miracle to see them living together. But thats the thing that gives our lives a zing of different spices, hence adding a color and taste to it. Where girls are considered to be too fussy about keeping things right, guys are careless people, who never keep their things in right place. Guys feel proud being unorganised. Bedroom means Lots of mess around. Leaving wet towels on bed, chocolate wrappers on side tables, not putting shoes or clothes at the right place after coming home are some of the examples. Cupboard means whole world somehow packed inside a box, ready to fall out, if opened. And all this leads to minimum half hour lecture per mistake by the woman in their lives be it their mothers, wives or sisters.
It is said that a woman can understand a woman best and ironically a woman is the biggest enemy of another woman. Whereas in the case of men, One day they seem to be the biggest enemy of each other and the next day they'll be seen spending great good time with each other like good old friends. In case of ladies Fashion sometimes go over and above. Months are spent like days for shopping. on the other hand guys find it very irritating and try to end it up asap.
Interestingly a Boy Friend means lots of care, enquiry and per hour report of what he does the whole day and whom he met. whereas in case of men having Girl friends is status symbol. More the merrier.
Guys shows lots of attitude, aggression and style on road, while driving or between friends. Again they have a great good amount of ego. Like if they are lost on some route, they feel bad about asking the route from somebody. They'll first try their level best, and after failing they 'may' enquire about the place where they want to go. And ladies go real slow on road. At times its irritating to watch their level of patience on the road.
As per an old saying "its lucky to be the first love of a woman and last love of a man". I dunno how much truth is that. But yes both are very different from each other.
Yet at times i feel guys are somewhat unpredictable too. They want to know each and everything about a girl before commitment saying their past is irrelevant to them. Gimme a break!! If its true y the hell they ask abt it. and if they dont ask, and in future they got to hear something about them, they loose their temper. Guys can hardly forget the past of their ladies. They can't stand their wife's male friends yet they expect their ladies to understand them and be good and nice to their female friends. I guess may be thats y ladies prefer to be mysteries as they know their men!!
Or else God made them mysteries as they made men a mystery seeker, to hold that level of attraction and excitment in these adventurous souls... Women will always be a mystery unresolved!!

A Tribute to all of them
I love this poem alot.. Its written by a very famous poet Ramkumar Chaturvedi ji widely known as "Chanchal ji"
Sitaron ki Zubaano pe shaheedo ki kahaani hai..
Jinhe suvidha nahi bhati, na samjhote suhaate hain,
Gagan ko odhte hain, aur dharti ko bichate hain.
shahadat ko na samjhenge padon par aithnewale,
kuchakron main dhale sinhasano par baithnewale.
teejori bhakti hai jinki, kutilta shakti hai jinki
khushamad ki nadi main zindagi bhar paithne wale.
shahadat ek sauda hai watan par jaan dene ka,
jinhe swikar hai,vo maut se nazren milate hain.
swayam matha jhukata samne bhugol ata hai,
yashogatha swayam ithihas padkar sunata hai.
ki uski chah main sansar sukh ki sans leta hai,
shadhat vriksh hai, jisko yugon ka tap ugata hai.
na chandi bole pati hai, na sona taul pata hai,
kubero ke khazane dhool main aansu bahate hain.
na goli rok pati hai,na fansi tok pati hai,
ki karagar ko bhi mukti ka mandir manate hain.
Shaheedon ka satat sangharsh hi Imaan hota hai,
Rahe bedag Azaadi yehi armaan hota hai.
watan ki dhool hi inke liye hai swarg ka chandan,
Ki inka isht jita jaagta insaan hota hai.
yugon ki aandhiyon main bhi andhere cheerti hain jo,
laho se seenchkar aisi mashalon ko jalate hain...

I guess i have conveyed my heart with this .
A heaps of Thanx to all of them. :)

Alice in Wonderland..
I was probably 9 or 10 years old at that time. And such kind of dream to a kid is hideous. I was shaken. but soon forgot and slept again.. This was the dream i often used to get. We had a joint family that time. And when we shifted from first floor to second floor, this dream dissapeared like anything. When years later i told my friend about it, i got tears in my eyes. And that time i actually realised how terrified i was with that dream.
Dream world is a strange world. One can fly above the sky and swim beneath the oceans. A limitless world.
It is believed that some dreams are purely fictional work of our minds and sometimes we dream about what we observe from the environment around us or what we fantasize about. While Some people also believe that some dreams are intuitive in nature and they have hidden meanings in them.
Some dreams are repetitive in nature. As like watching a person or a thing haunting us for days leaving us with the feeling as if its been so since ages. Or some flowers blossoming over our path. Dreams can be utterly beautiful or can be awefully hideous. Some can be forgotten in a split second whereas some are difficult to forget.
At some point of time dreams compel us to give them a deep thought so as to discover if they really have some hidden meaning..
Sometimes it happens that when you wake up at 7 am and then I go back to sleep and have those long beautiful dreams that seem to last for hours, and then again wake up and it's...
7 : 02 . In just those two minutes our brains dream of a journey lasting a day or a week or vice-versa.
In another dream i saw that my mum went to America, and there she and Bill Clinton started a 'war' like thing. During the war both were morphing into different species like Mr. Clinton became snake and my mum became eagle and Clinton morphed himself into vulture and so on. It was one of the very wonderful and interesting dream i had. Full of special effects. lol
Then there was yet another kind of dream i have experienced. I was sleeping and suddenly somebody or some unknown power was trying to pull my soul away from my body. I had realisation that it was merely a dream but couldn't wake myself up from this dream. I was trying hard to get out of it, shouting hard in my dream but soon felt i was paralysed in my dream. And i started chanting all the names of God and Shlokas and everything i could think of. And after some time came out of it.
After much research about this one i got to know many interesting facts. This is a very common thing. This was kind of dream paralysis that everybody suffers in their lives sooner or later. When our mind gets much tired or stressed up, this happens.
Moral of the story : I was pretty happy that i too have mind.. lol
Another reccuring dream, some friends or family members came home to take me for some fun outing. And i rushed out with them barefoot. And then sufferred embarresment outside.
After searching its meaning i discovered that it means the person who has got this dream is very carefree and living a very stressless life full of enthusiasm.
Interesting fact: Dreams about deaths are good and about marriages are considered bad. As death implies end of the problems. So it is believed if a person sees death in his dreams, the major problem that he is currently facing in his personal or proffessional life is going to end soon.
If you have such stories about your wonderland, do share it here. And dont forget to uncode them, if you think they may mean something..

Jai Maharashtra!!
Hope it will be another interesting read. :)
We all should support Raj Thackeray and take his initiative ahead by doing more...
1. We should teach our kids that if he is second in class, don't study harder.. just beat up the student coming first and throw him out of the school
2. Parliament should have only Delhiites as it is located in Delhi
3. Prime-minister, president and all other leaders should only be from Delhi
4. No Hindi movie should be made in Bombay . Only Marathi.
5. At every state border, buses, trains, flights should be stopped and staff changed to local men
6. All Maharashtrians working abroad or in other states should be sent back as they are SNATCHING employment from Locals
7. Lord Shiv, Ganesha and Parvati should not be worshiped in our state as they belong to north ( Himalayas )8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only
8. Visits to Taj Mahal should be restricted to people from UP only
9. Relief for farmers in Maharashtra should not come from centre because that is the money collected as Tax from whole of India , so why should it be given to someone in Maharashtra ?
10. Let's support kashmiri Militants because they are right to killing and injuring innocent people for benifit of there state and community......
11. Let's throw all MNCs out of Maharashtra , why should they earn from us? We will open our own Maharashtra Microsoft, MH Pepsi and MH Marutis of the world .
12. Let's stop using cellphones, emails, TV, foreign Movies and dramas. James Bond should speak Marathi.
13. We should be ready to die hungry or buy food at 10 times higher price but should not accept imports from other states
14. We should not allow any industry to be setup in Maharashtra because all machinery comes from outside
15. We should STOP using local trains... Trains are not manufactured by Marathi manoos and Railway Minister is a Bihari
16. Ensure that all our children are born, grow, live and die without ever stepping out of Maharashtra , then they will become true Marathi's
JAI MAHARASHTRA!

This happens only in India
And so arguments started. Middle aged man continued, and sardarji kept on answering him very patiently. And so within a few minutes quite many people sitting or standing nearby got involved in that conversation. On one side there was that middle aged man, and on the other rest of the people standing and sitting in that compartment. I was listening each and everything very patiently, smiling and feeling joy to see so many people united for their nation. When suddenly one aunty near me said "beta he is a mad person, these are not good times and dont say anything if u are about to. He might be having some knife with which he can harm you." and again she stopped her husband from interfering giving same reason when her husband asked her to stop talking rubbish! lol
I again wondered This happens only in India..
Anyhow young or old, ladies or gents, everybody stood united against that man. And after 10 minutes of arguments, things started getting peaceful, with a little discussions here and there. So my journey that day got over too and i was pretty satisfied after watching love in people for their country.
God Bless you all.
And always keep smiling. :)

Vedas and Vedic Studies
*Sruti literature refers to the habit of ancient Hindu saints who led a solitary life in the woods, where they developed a consciousness that enabled them to 'hear' or cognize the truths of the universe. Sruti literatures are of two parts: the Vedas and the Upanishads.
Vedas
The word Veda came out from the word vid that means knowledge. When it is applied to scripture, it signifies a book of knowledge. They are the foundational scriptures of the Hindus. vedas are believed to be the most ancient books that have mantras in them. And it is believed that no human has created them and they were created by God himself. The Vedas are the eternal truths revealed by God to the great ancient Rishis of India. Rishi means the seer i.e the one who sees, seer of Mantra or thought. The thought was not his own. The Rishis saw the truths or heard them. Therefore, the Vedas are what are heard (Sruti). He was the seer of thought which existed already. He was only the spiritual discoverer of the thought, and not the inventor. So Vedas were never written, never created. They are eternal and impersonal.
The most ancient veda is Rig veda then Samveda, Yajurveda and the least is Atharva veda..
Initially Atharva veda wasnt considered as a part of vedas. And it was believed that there are only three vedas. But later on its was accepted as a part of vedas, and formed chatur veda.
All vedas are considered to have mantras that are used to perform ceremonies and rituals. since the oldest is Rig veda so it has got all the mantras and all other vedas have more or less repetitions of the mantras that are written in Rig veda. So Rig veda is the base of all the other vedas.
(1) Rig Veda have all the mantras in them, which are used to perform rituals. its is the oldest veda.
(2) Sama Veda all the mantras that are written in Rig veda are repeated but in a poetic manner. a tune has been given to mantras in sama veda
(3) Yajurveda has also got some repetetion of mantras that are in Rig veda.. and apart from that it has some additional mantras for performing yagya and bali.
(4) Atharva Veda- again Atharva veda also has some mantras of Rig veda.. But in addition to that it has got mantras for voodoo.
As per hindu relegion Mantra-Samhitas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas, and the Upanishads are combinely called vedas. i.e vedas are divided into 4 parts. The division of the Vedas into four parts is to suit the four stages in a man's life or known as ashramas in hindu system.A mans age is believed to be of 100 yrs. so each ashrama is for 25 yrs.
(a) Brahmacharya ashram is the first stage in a human's life. According to hindu system a man should study uptill 25 yrs. these are the years to learn.
(b) Grihastha Ashram is the second stage that is from 25yrs to 50yrs. A man should marry and make family. Bring up his children and apply his studies that he did in brahmacharya ashram to support his family.
(c)Vanaprasth ashram is the third stage in a man's life that is from 50-75 yrs. In this ashram a man along with his wife leaves the home for swadhyayan or self-study. This is the stage where a man starts cutting himself from the rest of the world and starts learning the eternal thruths of life.
(d) Last stage in a man's life is Sanyaas ashram i.e. from 75 yrs to rest of his life. It is the rule of life that one who comes has to go one day. And God is the creator of this life. So a man in this ashrama solely without his/her spouse leaves all the comforts and relations that he made in his entire life and lives a life that made him/her closer to almigthy God.
Division of vedas as told earlier, suits four stages in life.
(i) Mantra Samhitas -they are hymns in praise of the Vedic God for attaining material prosperity here and happiness hereafter. The Mantra portion of the Vedas is useful for the Brahmacharins.
(ii) Brahmanas are explanations of Mantras or rituals. The Brahmana portions guide people to perform sacrificial rites. They are prose explanations of the method of using the Mantras in the Yajna or the sacrifice. The Brahmana portion is suitable for the householders or grihasthas.
(iii) The Aranyakas are the forest books, they contain the phylosophies about life and almigthy that were written and explored in forests. The Aranyakas are intended for the Vanaprasthas or hermits who prepare themselves for taking Sannyasa.
(iv) The Upanishads are the most important portion of the Vedas. The Upanishads contain the essence or the knowledge portion of the Vedas. The Upanishads speak of the identity of the individual soul and the Supreme Soul. They reveal the most subtle and deep spiritual truths. The Upanishads are useful for the Sannyasins. there are 108 upnishads out of which 11 most important.
*Smriti Literature refers to 'memorized' or 'remembered' poetry and epics. It explains universal truths through symbolism and mythology, and contain some of the most beautiful and exciting stories in the history of religion world literature. Some of the most important of Smriti literature are:
1. Bhagwat Geeta- it is the sixth part of Mahabharata, written about the 2nd century BC . It contains some of the most brilliant theological lessons about the nature of God and of life ever written.
2. The Mahabharata - The world's longest epic poem written about 9th century BC, and deals with the power struggle between the Pandava and the Kaurava families, with an intertwining of numerous episodes that make up life.
3. The Ramayana - The most popular of Hindu epics, composed by Valmiki around 4th or 2nd centuries BC with later additions up to about 300 CE. It depicts the story of the royal couple of Ayodha - Ram and Sita and a host of other characters and their exploits
4. Purana- they contains myths, stories, legends, lives of saints, kings and great men, allegories and chronicles of great historical events. They were written to popularise the studies of vedas and to generate the devotion for God. The Puranas were meant, not for the scholars, but for the ordinary people who could not understand high philosophy and who could not study the Vedas. There are 18 puranas. Of these, six are Sattvic Puranas and glorify Vishnu; six are Rajasic and glorify Brahma; six are Tamasic and they glorify Siva.

Mirror Mirror On The Wall
Sometimes it seems as if somebody is staring at us from behind a glass or else vice-versa. And because of formation of this magnetic relationship of ourselves with us, we also call it "Looking Glass". More and more we look in that glass, more we keep on discovering great deal of details about our appearance that were hidden till now. I wonder why sellers shouldn't sell mirrors with a statutory warning on it quoting : "Prolonged use may lead to serious side effects like self obsession, over-confidence, addiction or job dissmisal due to continuous delays in reaching the work place".
Even if the person is very ordinary looking still mirror teaches him to love himself. Beautiful features of a person prompts him/her to consult the mirror every now and then, or else sometimes it compliments us digging and discovering best from our souls like our smile, expressions of peace, love and care over our faces that makes us more beautiful. Mirror brings us close to ourselves forming a unique bond with itself and with ourselves that its beyond description. Its a remedy to boost our confidence. Its a wonder out of wonderland.
Mirror leaves its impact on us in three ways:
Case I : When we look in it and discover we look usual just like any other day, maximum chances are its going to be just another day for us(provided if nothing exciting happens on the work front too).
Case II: If it tells us that we look great and better than the previous day/s, probability is higher that that day will be the day full of admiration, confidence and cheering.
Case III: And now last, as like it happens at times with most of us, we have bad hair days, swollen eyes or something of that sort and we dont find ourselves good enough for another look. As mirror makes us self concious, so due to that we may have a hard day or may be the lost one. And if there is nothing excieting at work place and nobody finds a time to chit-chat with us, or give us a pleasant glance, its going to be the worst one!!
Though some people manages to escape its lure, but more or less it affects our lives in such a fashion. A mirror is that dynamite that can make or break our entire day or rather boost or shatter our whole confidence. The time we spend before it is the time we are spending with ourselves, remembering and adoring ourselves.
People practice speech before going out in meetings or dates, just to be sure about themselves and because of their desire to present best of them before the other person. When sombody is upset or someone is crying, it is surprising to see the forgotten expression of their sorrows, due to their encounter with the mirror. Children stop crying, people stop thinking as and when they are before it. It makes us concious of ourselves.
Shopkeepers know the cunning ways of mirrors. So they all use mirrors elaborately with bright lighting inside their shops, making their customers concious, alert and obsessive about their appearance, which compells a person to shed bucks and bucks on the accessories and clothes for themselves just to quench their souls. It is no wonder that sometimes we bring in home many useless things and clothes that were looking one of the bests in shops but are now worst choice one can ever make. Many times it also happens, that while shopping somebody "not so pleasing" , sitting besides, disturbs us with his weird stares and if suddenly mirrors comes in a way, we suddenly forget everything and becomes concious about ourself ignoring the other things, places, event and people around. Mirror changes priorities of the moment.
I have heard eyes and love are the only things that says alot without saying anything. Mirror does the same, creating many magical moments around. Its a love for oneself. Call it my love for mirror.. :)

Are we living safe in our homes?
Major and ever existing problems affecting us are politics and corruption. Though politics don't interest me but no one can close eyes watching the troubles ahead, expecting an escape from them. So specially in our country politicians are smart, efficient and forsighted when it comes to their seats in election. They prefer to serve themselves more than serving the nation. Eating out crores of money and then declaring lack of funds for development, imposing the cost on general public is the kind of work most of them do!! And so we are once again spectators.. We go and vote to the political party we think is lesser dacoit!! Others vote, feeling ruling party must be changed every five years as prolonged rule means elongated power and increased corruption . No genuine person wants to step up in politics as it makes good ones bad.. Just like if ur sitting among blind people for long, you slowly starts ignoring the details as others. Details loose their value..
And when we talk about corruption, it seems to be an ever-lasting phenomena in our country that is becoming larger with time. Be it hospitals, politics, government offices, media or anywhere else, corruption is more or less there!!
And now never ending war of religion has been joined by war of region.
This Maharashtra issue is just too much to gulp!! Maharashtra for Marathis. Bravo!! So we are dividing this country into other small countries.. And if all the states comes up with the similar theory, we'd be no more a nation and we'll have to use our passports to go to other states. Why Governemnt is not using its energy to take out fugitives who are living here without any valid ID from this country. Why government is not using its energy in creating better job opportunities. Our proficient doctors and engineers are not getting jobs here and are moving abroad. And the kind of doctors we are going to get for ourselves will be the outcome of the raised quota for S.C. and S.T.s. This all looks as if this Government is following the old british Policy of 'divide n rule' by reminding ourselves of our castes, religions and regions to rule the nation and to retain its respective post. It is hardly concerned for the masses just for the sake of winning the seat in next election!!
Lastest being the nuclear deal issue. About which like majority of the people i too am not happy. The major issue of concern is zero transperancy of its contents. Nothing is clear as yet about it. Anyway cant blame it as we dont know what the other parties wud have done if they were in the same place.
And again another major issue of concern, decision regarding removing ban from SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) which has been engaged into terrorist activities in the nation as per reports.
So here we are rusting from outside and inside. Increased corruption, increased terrorism, Nuclear deal issue, religional war, regional war, our lost values, and changed preferences, increased murders, high rise in divorce rate, easy flow of money to younger lot, increase in people indulged in smoking and boozing, shorter temper of youngsters, and muders out of sudden fits of rage or to buy luxury and status between friends..
This was brief introduction of India today and a warning of what it can become tomorrow. So we are becoming worst of worsts. Are we really sure we are living safe in our homes with atleast fine, even if not great, future ahead??

Divorce Rate, Another Rising Graph!!
But why do people have unhappy marriage? Today when people know whom they are actually getting married to (be it arranged or love), they still want to split up after tying up the knot.
One of the major reason behind it is that in todays era girls are emerging as successful people in their respective fields. In past a woman was confined to home making and her life was nothing beyond kitchen. She had no view point of her own and even if the guy comes out to be the wrong one, she was compelled to adjust with him by the so called society and family. But today she is successful in her field and she is clear about her long term aims. Even if she is homemaker, she knows what she wants from life. But men haven't changed much with respect to change in women. Many of them still want to rule their respective halves. Though its not their fault entirely, they have been brought up in this fashion. There are the men who want to have a wife with the modern attire and historian mind. And when things dont turn out the way they want, fights emerge from nowhere turning into battles. Thank God with the boom in ecomnomic structure, Indian woman has become self sufficient and financially independent and she has learned to come out of exploitative, suffocating and frustrating marital relationships with that useless husband. Women of today must become mentally tougher and strive to rule this male dominated world, where marriage is broken by the groom's side just because of deficient dowry. Another cruel but true aspect behind divorces.
Another reason can be the high expectations. Both girl or the boy shows best of himself/herself during the courship period making the other person partially blind raising expectations. And when these expectations are not fulfilled after marriage, that person becomes frustrated. And hence many small frustrations forces one to sign up the divorce papers. One must realise, that knowing somebody over years and living together, is altogether a different scenerio. With the zing of modernisation, minds of people are craving for more. The time has come when they want more from their lives. They want more from their work, their jobs and they want more from their marriage too. And they look for someone out of the marriage and get themselves indulged in infedility. when earlier this was prominent in men, today women are no less. Their excuse is they want to have a look over some pizzas and peppy pastas apart from regular conventional daal roti. They feel they want more attention. Even if it equals from the two people!! When everything changes , why not values too!! Tempraments of people too are changing to a great deal. We all have become short tempered. In these busy schedules, nobody has time for anything, not even time to save a marriage. No one wants to adjust a bit. There are couples who feels that they differ in all aspects and cant walk a single mile together. And shockingly many of them realises this in a month after tying up the knot. After a few disputes, they find themselves inapropriate match for each other. No body realises that to make a relationship flourish one needs time. No two people on earth have exactly same viewpoints. Even children who are born and brought up by the same family in exactly same fashion have entirely different outlook from each other. So how can we expect our spouse to understand us just in a flare of seconds without giving him/her time at all. There are other factors too like forced marriage of boy/girl by the family due to the fear of society, which results in either frustrated marriage, divorce or sucide. With the change in time, things are changing, people are changing, so are the priorities. We have forgotten if marriage means bells, flowers, joys divorces are all about pain, turmoil and frustration. We have come from a joint family system and we are heading towards being the nation of divorced and frustrated. We have to realise what examples are we setting up before next generations. We have to teach our kids the true meaning of marriage viz. respect, understanding and adjustment. Today we need a genuine commitment in marriage. One should thoroughly think over before getting into a commitment as it is a lifetime decision. Its better to save a marriage for first time as its lot more tougher the second time. Though no one must ever compromise where the issue streches up to one's self respect and its better to move off than to stay..
Pay heed to details before its too late..

Its a strange strange world...
Its a strange strange world.. :)
Childhood to School days
School was ultimate fun, where like everyone else i too learned alot. I had a great social network always upto some or other mischiefs.
During my childhood when i was frisky in an innocent way, without any idea of what i was upto though now my mischieves occur due to a deliberate effort, school age was the age of exploring the world around me with a little bit of funny but innocent deeds.. :)
Leaving my childhood behind, lets head towards school days. Wherein i was considered as very clever and intelligent person by my siblings at home who used to follow me (though not always), my friends used to consider me a very modest, caring and innocent "kid". Yes 'kid' is the right word. (even now am considered as one). Even though i was a bit above average in studies, but had always got great amount of love and affection from all my teachers and friends. And after reaching senior classes got same level of affection and admiration from my juniors too. I still wonder the popularity in school i got was due to my loud hilarious laughs or my never ending social nature. Anyways i was considered good in all aspects and thats all what matters now.. lol ;-)
It was fun going to school, trying our hands at tt, basketball, and gym, succeeding in nothing except a few moments of laughs. Rushing to school canteen in 5 mins of break between two classes and wonderful interaction with loads of friends there. Going to each other's homes in vacations or after school and talking for hours on phone after coming back home. My friends were a life saving jacket for me. They always used to act like one in every strange situation, tackling my problems without letting me in. We were a group of eight girls who used to laugh and laugh endlessly. Whole day scoffing on chocolates and toffees.
For every student, bunks are the most fun and integral part of school life. My bunks were the weirdest ones.
My first class bunk was a very miserable event. Recollecting that moment, i remember we never used to bunk our regular classes, as all teachers were aware of us and we were in their good books.. So one day i guess in 10th std, one of our teachers was absent and in her place some other teacher had to come to control the class. So it was kind of free class for all of us. Me and my friend Neha, we often used to address her by her surname i.e. "GHAI" decided we must bunk the class, as we had never before and this is the time when we can show our guts.. Uh Oh.. Guts.. That too bunking a free period.. anyways we were idiots and so it was an important day for both of us. Those were summer days and sun was in its peek position. And we ended up spending all 45 mins of that period in girls washroom, so as to escape all eyes, spoiling ourselves in sweat. Those were the worst 45 mins of my school life. :( Now we laugh at it but bunking a free period in summerdays that too in girl's room was the lousiest idea one can ever have.
And i remember my first and last school bunk, (11th or 12 std) it was another funny incident. I used to tell mum whatever used to happen in our school. So one day all my classmates made this plan to bunk the school. They asked our group if we are interested or not. I told them that i'll inform about my plan next day. And next day i refused, saying i asked my mum and she told me that in school uniforms you kids will get pissed off. Either take a leave or go on sunday with all friends in casuals and enjoy the day. Her point was valid, so i agreed. And my close pals said, our mothers told us to go if her mother allows her. And omg everybody was staring at us in disgust. I told them, i dont want to take any chances and my parents are pretty cool and frank so i need not hide anything from them.
But now i tell my mum it was so uncool, everybody was amused and amazed at us.. lol School was ultimate fun with many infinite memories.
This is To all my frnds..
"I wish i cud keep those days with me forever. The days without any stress, full of zeal, full of colors.. I wish i cud fly again..i wish i can have that careless life again.."
When you start missing old days, and memories starts consuming you, you must accept the fact that you are actually aging.. lol
Always Keep Smiling .. :)

The Other Side Of Me!! ;-)
It was 1 at night, we three were busy with our respective readings. My brother was doing his physics derivations, and my sister was reading a novel, and i too was busy in reading the novel "Alchemist". Mom and dad were asleep.. It was a silent night, with our small disturbances in between. I was deeply thirsty, but as I didn't want to take any break while reading, I didn't bother myself for just a glass of water. At 1.30 my brother departed for sleep. After a while, I too felt I must sleep, to wake up on time next day. So leaving my book in the middle, I rose up, with a peaceful heart and a mind full of nice philosophical thoughts which were injected in me by that book, I too went to bedroom ..
It was all dark. And now when i wanted to lie down, i suddenly realised that i was horribly thristy since past 3 hours. And i started searching for a bottle of water in that dark room near my bed, failed to find any, i was about to leave for refrigerator, when suddenly my brother stopped me. "Are u searching bottle??" he asked in a sleepy voice. I said "yups". And he handed me a bottle saying "its here". I opened the neck of the bottle, getting a bit suspicious about it. But then i was so engrossed with my thoughts and was so thirsty, i ignored the suspicion that occured and took the largest possible sip of it. And as i was about to swallow it, i found out it wasn't water. As water is not that thick, without any taste and it had the coolness of mint and its smell was like.. OH MY GOD!! i realised it now, it was hair oil that was resting inside my mouth, above my throat ready to go down.. YUCK!! It was disgusting. I punched my brother for what he had done(though he was totally unaware of what i had inside my mouth).. And after discovering he was laughing. And I rushed towards the basin to spit it out, with the precaution, that no drop must flow down inside me. Suddenly all philosophy vanished, all thirst died, and all sleep i had in my eyes flew off. And within few seconds all that large amount of oil,(i could have used that much hair oil twice) was flowing down the basin. After washing my mouth, i straighaway walked to the previous room to my sister, and told her the whole story, laughing hard. And my mother came in, it took her a split of second to realise what has happened. And now she was laughing too. When during night there's all silence, and when one wants to suppress the loud sounds of laughs and mutters, ironically one ends up being hysterical. And it was hard for us to stop at that moment, specially me who had experienced it a while ago!! :)

My first payjama party :)
I know u must be wondering the title is pajama party and now i am giving speech about news channels, what rubbish!! But be impatient as i was when all this happened...
I had been a prey of this news madness too, a month ago. It was 11.30 pm(i dont remember day and date), my mom and dad were about to sleep and we three viz me, my sis and my bro all were talking to each other in our room when suddenly our door bell rang. I became furious as who can be there at this time of the night and told my brother to accompany me to the door.. He asked me to stay behind and went downstairs. And as he opened the door, a neighbourhood kid yelled out loud "Bhaiya get out of the house, hurry up. Earthquake is about to come. Quick bhaiya.. tell everybody." And as it never happened before in our lives we were amazed and amused on what was happening. In the meanwhile my dad also went out and asked whats the issue all about. And the kid said "we dont know uncle, elders have asked us to the ring bell of each and every house in this line and tell them to get out of their respective homes."
So willingly or unwillingly we all went out from our respective hideouts. And it seemed as if some pajama party was going on outside. Certainly it was like some great getogether, everybody was in night suits. All people from our lane were out talking to each other disecting on whats happening and how come this news took birth. My parents joined a group to know the details. And i moved further after them. A girl, cousin sister of that kid who alarmed us, came to us holding a tray full of glasses and offered water. So yeah, kids were assigned this duty, and they were thoroughly enjoying it. So my parents enquired about the matter as howcome the news about earthquake was spread. And one of the uncles told us, that in zee news at 4'clock in the afternoon, some people were predicting that the earthquake may approach Delhi between 11.00 pm to 12.oo am. And so, we asked all our kids to alarm all the nearby neighbours. I messaged one of my friend to get out of her home too, (call it my love for her or reaction of the action that was taking place out of my home). She called me back and asked me to sleep and stop acting like insanes at midnight and for some couple of minutes she seemed hopeless to me. When i was trying to save her life, she was calling me insane. But later on i realised it too, news channels can say anything.
So everyone was out of their respective homes, and had divided themselves into small social groups whichever was best suiting them, and regular sounds of talking, murmuring, laughing were reaching our ears.. There was no sleep in any eye! Anyways i was enjoying this "nightout" too. And i dialed another number, this time it was my cousin's no., indore, and told him the whole story. He was amused and started enjoying the nearby sounds too.. Since he was tired after all day work i asked him to go to sleep.
In the meanwhile my brother and his friends were planning to play cricket. They didn't want to loose this opportunity. And i joined his group, as to know whats happening in another social group. And this was the group i enjoyed alot. We all were laughing, making jokes of news channels. They all started making a high end plan to give those news channels another news full of sensation . A sensation regarding UFOs. They were dividing the jobs among themselves as who will take the shoot, who will become alien, who will hold the light behind and finally who will give the interview to the channel. And after 5 minutes they all were playing cricket in the front park. Everything was utterly hilarious. People started to move back to their respective homes. And i went to call my brother back, when suddenly another kid sprayed up a deodrant over me.. yuck!! i hate such strong smells and specially during night when i have to sleep.. But instead of getting angry i was laughing as this was another game that kids had discovered during this weird confusion. After returning i switched on the television, and all the news channels were pouring different news as always(none was related to "EARTHQUAKE") unaware of the fact as what impact they had made in our lives 2 hours ago.. And now the road that seemed so lively couple of hours ago, was now falling into deep dark silience of night.

God, this is for you!!
Be it a hindu religion or christianity, we all believe in the existence of one greatest power above all which is controlling us. But why this debate about his existence? Even if God exists, is he important to our lives, or if he doesn't exists, does it makes any difference??
Sometimes our faith, in God or in anything else, makes our hopes strong. During the bad phase of life, one gets the feeling of optimism that this is not going to be like this forever, thinking that its because of karmas and hopes for some miracle to happen. Even if no miracle happens, we are escorted to good phases in the meanwhile. Its good to rely on somebody other than you, atleast it lowers the burden when you are low. This faith in God also helps us in becoming a better person. Because of the fear of being paid off for our karmas, most of the times we get rescued from harming others by our words or actions..
An atheist may probably reject this theory but a theist and confused atheist would surely agree to it in some way. When we say that this life is all about science, and our existence is based on theory of evolution. And we are formed with the fusion of microbes. That Fusion is a miracle.
When we say all these planets moving around the sun on their regular paths is due to gravitational force of sun, than that gravitational force too is a miracle.. We take births, we die, flowers blossom, fishes swim, birds fly, so many starsin the sky, somewhere its all sea and somewhere its all mountains, infinite galaxies everything seems to be the miracle. This miracle must have been done by someone. And we have named that someone as God. There are so many instances we heard about rebirths and life after death that certainly its a mystery that even science would like to solve.. And untill science solves it or rather discovers some logic behind our bare souls, lets keep guessing the God. But in the end we should not forget science is a miracle too.. :)

Playing Cards
I have been playing cards with the same passion since i was a child !! Many people find cards bad. But if you play them decently they are just like any other indoor game!!
Let me recollect the memories and remebering each and every GAME of cards that i have played till now.
So this post is dedicated to playing cards..
First game that i learned was Patte pe Patta, where 2 or more people divides the cards equally, and then each player turn by turn opens one card. The one who throws the card of either a same sign or same number as previous card takes the whole lot generated in that session!! Deal is to get all the available cards from rest of the players. This is one of the easiest game.
Next game i learned was quite similar to previous one called "Chatai", followed by few more games like Ghar Lootna, Duggi Bazaar, Donkey Stop, Laad. These Games are easiest games that require minimum use of Brain. Any child can follow these games very quickly.
Though these are a bit tougher than Flash, thats normally, rather is always played with money, as without including money nobody is intrested in it(one of the games i find totally crap). Let me give a fake idea that i have about how it is played. In flash each player gets 3 cards, and then starts bidding (without having the idea what the other person has got). And the player who dont want to bid more says "SHOW", and other players show their cards. Highest is the trail (Trail means having same numbered cards of different signs. eg. Three Aces) and lowest being no repetion of any number or any sign in the trio. In between there are many other combinations. ( I dont know all of them).
Particularly this game is one of the dumbest games in my knowledge, having no sports spirit.
Next series of games include Teen Do Panch (3 player game) and Saath aath(2 player game), Uno, Bluff(420).These games are one of the very intresting games and most common too. Specially Teen Do Panch and bluff are favourites of many. I would like to rate them as 2.5 out of 5.
Next level of games are tactful but easy to learn. First one being Rummy, a very intresting game, if played intelligently. Then comes Code Peace, a four player game, where four players are divided in a two teams having two player each. This game has no sessions and can be played untill one gets sleepy. lol.. In the end, the team that has minimum number of Codes, wins. These games are worth 3 or 3.5 out of 5
Another game that requires brain in a good amount is "28". This game is very old, and very few people know it. Drawback is its a very lengthy game and is rarely finished.. But when you'll play it you wont find its worth below 4 out of 5!!
Finally i think there are two games that should be termed as Kings of cards (i cant say which one is better). They are Bridge and Sweep!! These are believed to be most intelligent Games. They are not everybody's cuppa tea. Many people find them hard to play, as they need maximum application of brain!!
I tried to learn Brigde from one of my quite elder cousin brother (the only person till now, who knows bridge, among the people i know) but i could'nt.I have seen most of the people find these two games difficult to learn and difficult to play. Though the person who knows thems enjoys them to the core.
Dont think am a pakki juawari kinds.. :P Cards are a real sport, if played with true spirit!! :)

Why more boys are being born to girls???
Globally, there are about 105 to107 boys born for every 100 girls.
China having the largest gap between the girls boys ratio. It has been noted in various countries that women are giving more births to male children naturally. Some of the reasons behind this may be older fathers, stress, environmental toxins and lower maternal weight.
Pollutants like dioxin, mimic in human hormones may also be affecting the birth rates.
Lets discuss the problem in India.
This is an alarming state for all of us.
This stats are based on the 0-6 age group...
in 1961, ratio for girls:boys was 976:1000..
in 1971, 964:1000
in 1981, 962:1000
in 1991, ratio of grls:boys was 945:1000
Which declined in 2001, to 927:1000 boys..
Its declining rapidly ... and it can be seen more in rural areas...More or less cities are also experiencing the same!and this ratio reached near 800s in 2005!!
One of the reason is illiteracy leading to female infanticide and traditional mindset of ppl for a male child!!Despite of the fact that we have developed and grown immensly we are still engaged in brutal practices like female infanticide.
In rural area its shockingly common. People after discovering the new born child is female, kill the baby by adopting various means such as strangling the baby, giving her poison, dumping her in a garbage bin, drowning her, burying her alive, starving her, stuffing her mouth with salt, or leaving her outdoors overnight so she dies of exposure.
What is even more shocking is this brutal muder is not considered as a big crime in these areas. Women being women themselves (playing the role of mothers, daughters, sisters) dont realise the importance of a girl child and participate in female infanticide equally.
Depressingly, educated, wealthy and so called mordern mindset of urban people doesnt help them in offgaurding their desire for a male child.
Though they dont kill their daughter after she is born, they do try and find out the sex of their child, and abort female fetuses, which again is a crime. If this continues to fall like this or if this state remains stationary for long period of time, the state of frustration and ill practices will keep on developing to newer heights among male masses.
Many ppl will remain unmarried...... it may add to their frustration... eve-teasing and molesting will increase to heights.... due to this imbalance there may be increase in extra marital affairs too... morals and ethics of society may get ruined...mishappenings with female child will also increase.... it will be more of a male dominated society and it will be hard for ladies to get their due share...
Though nowadays govt is taking measures for the same but it alone cant do much, we, who have been sleeping till now have to wake and have to respect the arrival of baby daughters to our homes.

Special children
Parenting Special children or the children with mental imparement is the toughest job. A person with mental retardation has to have both significantly low IQ and considerable problems in everyday functioning. Mental retardation may be complicated by several different physical and emotional problems. The child may also have difficulty with hearing, sight or speech. Most children with mental retardation can learn a great deal, and as adults can lead atleast partially independent lives. It is very important that the child has a comprehensive evaluation to find out about his or her strengths and needs. Since no specialist has all the necessary skills, many professionals might be involved. General medical tests as well as tests in areas such as neurology (the nervous system), psychology, psychiatry, special education, hearing, speech and vision, and physical therapy are useful. These physicians refer the child for the necessary tests and consultations, put together the results, and jointly with the family and the school develop a comprehensive treatment and education plan.
Early diagnosis of psychiatric disorders in children with mental retardation leads to early treatment. Medications can be helpful as one part of overall treatment and management of children with mental retardation.
Causes: there can be numerous causes for mental impairment..
1. Sometimes disability is caused by abnormal genes inherited from parents or errors when genes combine.
2.Mental disability can result when the fetus does not develop inside the mother properly. For example, there may be a problem with the way the fetus's cells divide as it grows. A woman who drinks alcohol (see fetal alcohol syndrome) or gets an infection like rubella during pregnancy may also have a baby with mental disability.
3. If a baby has problems during labor and birth, such as not getting enough oxygen, he or she may have developmental disability due to brain damage.
4. or it can be due to Iodine deficiency(affecting approximately 2 billion people worldwide, is the leading preventable cause of mental disability in areas of the developing world where iodine deficiency is endemic.), malnutrion(Malnutrition is a common cause of reduced intelligence in parts of the world affected by famine, such as Ethiopia.)
5.The use of forceps during birth can lead to mental retardation in an otherwise normal child. They can fracture the skull and cause brain damage.
6.Sensory deprivation in the form of severe environmental restrictions (such as being locked in a basement or under a staircase), prolonged isolation, or severe atypical parent-child interactions.
These children are special in true sense. they are like flowers who need proper care and attention, extra love and affection to grow and to survive. These are always so pure hearted and so untouched by the world's cruelilty. educating them and making them partially self independent is toughest but remarkable job.
Love them..

My Childhood- a random diary entry
As like any first child, jealousy molded in me when I saw my younger sister first time. Idea of sharing my portion of attention from my parents with her made me work for my own survival. One day I took her up and be seated her on a drainage pipe, hoping she'll melt down from there. It was a stupid but innocent attempt. Glad I had a bird's brain that time. Soon I realized that she can be my playmate and companion at home. After that ,nothing so dangerous and peculiar occurred to me. I used to invite her for breakfast, menu being pancakes of soil from our backyard and things like that. I was born and brought up in a joint family in initial years of my age. Being eldest in my group of children, I was the Sardar or leader of the gang. The position served its purpose of being given a special respect and obeying all orders by younger lot. We had quite a big house. That gave us many opportunities to be adventurous discovering hidden corners and untouched places there. Playing with mud, collecting crap found in the process of discovery. Changing shoes and clothes to go to neighbor's house to scoff on cold drinks; pouring whole bottle of shampoo in chilling winters over my sister's head in order to make her more beautiful- I have done it all.
While things at home were pleasant and fun, going to school was a pain. It was a place for me that used to throw me out of my comfort zone. It was a place full of strange teachers who used to make me do what they want to; without seeking for my approval. Understanding things that were not related to the life around me was killing. Still coming back to home, seeing my mother and father, meeting my little angels used to lighten up my ideas for new and different kind of adventure.
While things around me were always busy, still I managed to get some time by myself. I had a huge crush on myself. Mirror was my companion when no one else was around. (I do still have that habit sometimes- moment of truth). Making faces before it; talking to myself, taking my own interviews thinking of myself as some celebrity along with some attempts to make myself look more beautiful is what my mother fondly recalls. I used to run to my mother saying "mummy dekho, main gori ho gayi". After looking at me and smelling the powder I had put over my face- my mother used to shout at me. Once there was pesticide powder, and other time it was paint (I somehow managed to get it from neighborhood when labor was off for lunch. I used to put beads and flowers inside my nose and ears, thinking that they'll act as nose-pins and earrings. My mother used to get so tired with these daily doses!!
Photographs from heydays and such stories from my mother are quite an evidence of the fact that I had a rocking and animated childhood. I was lost from home many times, sometimes was found with my cousin in our neighbor's place, or in the nearby temple (to get prasad), or I was found in a shop talking to the shopkeeper gulping toffees and chocolates from his shop and sometimes hidden at the back of sofa, conspiring with my cousins about the next move.
I was a creative soul too. I used to make mud arts (that my younger siblings, used to eat, thinking them to be mud "cakes"), paintings, models, wall hangings. My parents always supported my artwork. They used to display them in our drawing room, leaving me with a feeling that my art is worth a millions. There are so many stories about my life that I can cover all many gigabites on internet. I wish every child gets that kind of space. There must be more to life besides idiot box, computer, and usual studies- to retain that innocence in a child. :)
PISCES WOMAN
PISCES WOMAN likes to be in a dream world than to be in reality. She is weak and sensitive when it's come to "Love". She can cry if her best friend is breaking up, and she can be over excited when her friend gets a new boy friend who is a good looking and rich even it is nothing concerned her at all. You might be surprised to see that she is shy just because she is in love. More or less it will be in Pisces woman. She loves kids and small animals and is gifted in training animals. She has sixth senses and she can guess what will happen next, it's her nature. Even if she has a good sixth senses, she can not pick or foreseen her own choice of lover. She can not tell if she meets a sincere guy or a one night stand guy. She likes to buy and pick her own clothes. She likes to dress cute and be cute. Pisces woman tend to be a good looking woman and she has a nice skin. Her hands and feet are small and soft. Pisces woman loves to shop for shoes as if she collects them. She is a hot lady that everyone wants her. Whether she has a man in her life or not , she will never try to over powered any man. It's not even in her thoughts. She thinks man can handle things better, and she will make her man feel that way. She is an easy going person, so being with her is easy. She is a confident woman and likes to make people who stay with her happy. She knows how to please and how to comfort a man. If something is wrong, she will try to make other people believe that it's must be because of someone else, and not because of her loved ones. She will not push her man to an ambition but will make him feel like he should be happy with the way he is now. She is happy with you for what you are now. A Pisces woman , if she has a bad childhood, she will always remember it and it will make her a very unhappy person. She'll pity herself and feel sorry for herself. She tends to hurt herself with out knowing it and so vulnerable to drugs (real drugs or just sleeping pills). She has many choices and you can never tell which path she going to take. If you love her , then hold her tight because she never knows why she did what she did or what she will do next. A complex character. You may think she is a shy innocent type and can not hurt anyone, you are wrong. You might think she is a fragile person who needs protection, wrong again. She has been through a lot, a tough cookie. She is a dreamer and love the word "Love", so she is the type who will buy gift for anyone for any occasion, especially if it is a gift for wedding or an anniversary even for someone who she does not know so well. Be very careful if fall in love with Pisces woman. She can be a total different person before and after. She can be angel before and later a witch, but everyone is not perfect, right? She will be soft and gentle most of the time, so not to worry. She is emotional and extremely sensitive when she frequently got hurt. She is the type who can cry her heart out. She can have a secret fear inside, when she says she does not need anyone. She badly needs someone to protect her, but sometimes she can hide that feeling by being stubborn. She likes to hide her shyness and her weakness from her enemy. She does not like to follow any fixed rules. She can be a good housewife if you know how to handle her. Many men will ask to marry her because she is a 100% woman. If she wants to be sweet, she is a real angels.

How do i love thee
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Pondering- Why I have created this blog?
It is pretty cool to have a space that is purely mine, a diary that can never be misplaced, where I can collect and write anything I want. And get feedback too in form of comments. Hearing the word comment right now seems weird- as in real world we are used to compliments. Though good or bad response will ensure that I am being heard. May be with some good discussions we will end up in realizing or knowing something meaningful that can make a difference (hope for good) to somebody.
If that doesn't happen, who cares! At the end of the day it is making me indulge in something new.
Its a diary for me, and its a message or my beliefs for you. There are so many issues, that need to be paid heed to. And there are so many things that can make better me and better you..
Oh my gosh! This all is rhyming!! I like it-and you have to love it too!! :D
Signing off with this note- c ya soon until something nice strikes my head, or shakes my soul...
Happy Blogging! ;)
Rituals- Why do I follow them?
I am a plant that dies without its soil, without its roots..
I follow values and traditions not just blindly, but for a reason. I dig out the causes to understand why they became rituals for people. When I can't find a reason, my heart compels me to respect the sentiments of elders. To make themselves proud and happy.
On the other hand there are some I don't follow at all, I act as a rebel. That is because sometimes these rituals give us a panic attack, enter our comfort zone and kill our pride. We feel and breathe too.
Values are our basic identity and individuality that separate us and our thoughts from others, providing a system of living. They set the standards and priorities in the life of a person. Though at times traditions and rituals bind our wings while other times they are the way of celebrating our and our tribe's existence on earth.
This is my first attempt at blogging***
