The lonely note in your wallet

Ever wonder why?

People at the top are mostly desolate. Ever wonder the notes of ten and hundred always seem to find company in your wallet, the coins seldom fail to find others of their kind to be with. However, a thousand rupee note sits alone waiting for someone to meet, until it finally breaks down.
What is wrong with it? Is it an arrogant snob or just some poor bloke who couldn't find someone compatible to be with? Even the most commonly encountered statistical distributions- Normal Distribution, chi square, t, F, Binomial, Poisson show that the loneliness at the extremes is a rule rather than exception.
If you're the lonely one,
You are not the only one.
Though its not a ubiquitous state,
You may soon find another lonely mate!

If you are alone, know that you are rare but your kind will find you soon. Meanwhile enjoy this song!

  1. An interesting thought and almost metaphysical in its explanation. Very thought provoking, Shesha.

  2. Interesting! Yes it is better to be a bit exclusive than being surrounded by a big crowd that doesn't really do anything for you.

  11. Hello greetings and good wishes.

It is absolutely true that there is loneliness at the top and it is difficult to find a suitable companion easily. A lot of time and patience is needed to find a companion.

A thousand rupee note is a thousand rupee note. Other notes are inferior and these inferior notes can easily find company because they are commonly used. If one has a thousand rupee note the first thought is to change it to smaller denominations because most of our transactions are with smaller notes. Or if we have a thousand rupee note we will wait till we exhaust all the other notes to convert it into smaller denominations. Sometimes, it so happens after a long time we get another thousand rupee note to keep the thousand rupee note company. All these things are possible and practical.

A person at the top is a person of power, decision maker, leader who has to set standards and he will always be lonely because any decision that this person takes will affect every one else under him.

There is a saying === HEAVY LIES THE HEAD THAT WEARS THE CROWN.

However, we also know that some people at the top found companionship with commoners. The first thought that come to my mind is Prince William And Kate Middleton.

Very thought provoking and interesting post.

    Best wishes

    1. Wow Sir. You, with your profound thoughts, have given this post further depth. Yes a person at the top has to set standards and he with his power has to bear loneliness mostly as his decisions will affect everyone else under him. Thankyou so much for your views on this.
      (Pardon my delayed response)
